Backflow Test Service
What is a Backflow Prevention Device?
A backflow prevention device is used to protect our clean water supplies from contamination and pollution. The water is maintained under pressure in municipal water systems. When this pressure decreases because of burst pipes, high demand, or other factors it can allow contaminated water from the ground to enter the clean water supply through your sprinkler systems and other sources. Backflow prevention devices stop the contaminated water from flowing into our clean water supply. State of Ohio regulation requires that your businesses backflow preventers be tested annually to ensure that they are functioning properly.
